Real-time alerting only — humans take the action

TBN Sentinel's single job is real-time alerting. The moment something is detected — fire, intrusion, unusual behaviour — an alert is sent instantly. What happens next is entirely up to the human receiving it. We do not take action, trigger locks, call police, or make decisions. We watch, we detect, we alert. The human decides what to do. That's by design — AI should inform, not act.

Zero footage storage

TBN Sentinel does not record, store, copy, or retain any video footage whatsoever. Your cameras record to your own DVR/NVR/cloud system as they always have. We analyse the live stream in real time and output text alerts only. Nothing is saved on our infrastructure except the signed alert text.

Text alerts + signed receipts only

What TBN produces is a text-based alert (what was detected, where, when, severity) plus a cryptographically signed receipt proving the alert happened. These receipts live on the TBN cloud. They contain no video, no images, no personal data — just event metadata and a signature.

Your cameras, your system, your data

We need API or RTSP access to observe the feed — that's all. Everything else belongs to you: your hardware, your recordings, your storage, your retention policies, your backups. We're a service layer on top, not a replacement of your infrastructure.

GDPR solved by architecture

Because we never store footage or personal data, most GDPR concerns evaporate at the design level. No data processing agreements needed for video. No subject access requests to us.
